Yihan (Nancy) Sun is currently an undergraduate student at New York University, majoring in Film Production with a minor in Psychology. She focuses on filmmaking, especially writing and directing, and engages in photographic and fine art creation during her leisure time as a way to explore her creative expressions.

Nancy's journey in film is led by the 'repetition compulsion', drawing her to the unpredictability of filmmaking. She finds solace amidst the complexity inherent in the industry. In this chaos and intensity, she finds a sense of belonging.

She wishes to empathize with the unexpressed feelings of people, recognizing that loneliness is a universal experience. For her, the feeling of being seen, of not being alone, is one of the most powerful sources of comfort for human beings. Film, she believes, is the most delicate and honest medium to achieve that.
